Between Waseda University and 5 affiliated schools / affiliated schools (Waseda University High School, Waseda University Honjo High School, Waseda Business School, Waseda Setsuryo Junior High School / High School, Waseda Saga Junior High School / High School) and Education New Zealand Concluded a "Memorandum of Understanding on Educational Cooperation". The signing ceremony was held at the Embassy of New Zealand in Japan on June 7, 2019.

 This initiative is one of the goals of the medium- to long-term plan "Waseda Vision 150" for the 2032th anniversary of Waseda University's founding (150). The aim is to "re-examine and acquire Global Perspectives."Through the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Education New Zealand, we will provide students at affiliated schools and affiliated schools with the opportunity to experience studying abroad from an earlier stage.Students can participate in the on-campus New Zealand study abroad program or individually in New Zealand's local school program with low psychological hurdles.

 Based on this educational cooperation relationship, from August 2019, 8 students from Waseda Jitsugyo School and other affiliated and affiliated schools are scheduled to study abroad at a local school in New Zealand.
