On August 2019, 8, the student group Aile will hold a parliamentary debate event "Mock Diet" for junior and senior high school students and university students at the Second House of Representatives.At the working lunch time, members of parliament from all nine parties that meet the requirements of political parties will attend.

 Student group Aile is a high school student group that works on the concept of "making students and politics closer".A workshop "Mock Diet" that actually conducts policy making and deliberation so that young Japanese people will be interested in politics by learning the format of live discussions held in the Diet and discussing with politicians. Has been held regularly since the summer of 2018. In the "simulated Diet," participants will become members of both Houses of Representatives and discuss the agenda that has been decided in advance in a debate format while understanding the mechanism and specific procedures of the Diet, and finally aim for consensus.

 The theme of this discussion is "Pros and cons of Japan's nuclear power policy in the next 20 years."It will be held in the multipurpose meeting room on the 1st floor of the 9nd House of Representatives, and the Liberal Democratic Party, the Constitutional Democratic Party, the Nippon Ishin no Kai, and the N National Party will attend the working lunchtime.Participants are those who are in the first year of junior high school to the fourth year of university, or those of similar age, and who are recognized as having the ability to apply.The participation fee is free, and the number of applicants is 1.Applicants will be selected from Google Forms by referring to their opinions on self-promotion and themes. We are planning to recruit until 4:100 on August 8 (Sun).
