 The Teshigawara Seminar of the Faculty of Sociology has developed and sold two types of original coffee in collaboration with the Fukushima Children's Support Center's "Mama Cafe," which works to support parents and children after the Great East Japan Earthquake.

 The third original coffee started when an international student from Taiwan belonged to the Teshigawara seminar.First of all, students went to Taiwan and started field surveys such as volunteer activities at banana plantations, development of retail stores that cooperate with product sales, and hearings.Based on the results, we planned a coffee with a taste that goes well with fruits such as bananas, pineapples, and mangoes that Taiwanese people like.For the selection of coffee beans, roasting and crushing suitable for coffee bags, with the cooperation of Hirano Coffee (Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture), which has cooperated in product development so far, we repeated trial production and tasting to taste. decided.Furthermore, when selling in Taiwan, students took on the challenge of import procedures and market development, and started selling from October 3.

 The finished original coffee is a single origin that uses only Rwandan coffee beans Cahinda peaberry, and has a fruity, strong acidity and a refreshing taste. Named "Friendly Coffee", it expresses gratitude to the people of Taiwan for their dedication and a feeling of dearness that they want to continue to get along with.

 "Friendly Coffee" will be sold at Chiba University of Commerce Co-op, Hirano Coffee (Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture), etc. in Japan, as well as the "10th Ichikawa Festival" held on October 20 (Sun), 15 It will also be on sale at the school festival "Mizuho Festival" held from Sunday 11rd to Monday 3th.
