The theme of the symposium is "What Global City Opens", which considers "diversity and harmony" and "inheritance to the future," which is also the vision of the Tokyo 2020 Games.The purpose is to improve the international presence of students and promote international exchange.
The symposium will include Tomsk National University (Russia), Seoul City University (Korea), Malaya University (Malaysia), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China), Singapore National University (Singapore), Lester University (UK), Cairo University (Egypt). , New York University (USA), Sao Paulo University (Brazil), and other important exchange schools in Tokyo, the capital university, and about 20 students from more than 150 countries and regions from five continents participated.Keynote speeches by Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo, Haruo Shimada, President of Tokyo Metropolitan University, and panel discussions by students from Tokyo Metropolitan University and invited universities from overseas will be held.
