On Saturday, November 2019, 11, Saitama Institute of Technology held the largest traffic safety experience event in Saitama Prefecture, "9 Traffic Safety and Environmental Fair-Working Cars that Support Life-" at Saitama Stadium 2002 East Parking Lot. At the request of the Saitama Prefectural Truck Association, we exhibited an automatic driving test vehicle and a SAIKO car.
The Saitama Institute of Technology booth also became a point of the stamp rally, and many families visited in the clear autumn weather. This is the first time that an autonomous vehicle will actually be exhibited at this event, so you can take an interesting look at the body of the SAIKO car, which is equipped with many riders and cameras for autonomous driving, and take a commemorative photo in front of the car. Many visitors were seen taking pictures.
On the day of the event, we will introduce not only the exhibition but also a demo that analyzes the image information collected by the mounted riders and cameras with AI by deep learning and displays the results in real time.Visitors looked at the analysis screen and enthusiastically looked at the mechanism of autonomous driving technology using AI (artificial intelligence).
In addition, at this event, a large number of "working vehicles" such as police cars, fire engines and other emergency vehicles and mixer vehicles, which are not normally seen, will be exhibited in the venue, and the traffic safety experience vehicle "Site-kun" will be exhibited as an experience-based event. The children enjoyed the test drive and taking pictures with excitement, such as hands-on learning using the car, a bicycle simulator, and a plan to enjoy the fork lift operation experience.
