In October 2020, Hiroshima University will open its first international collaboration major (joint degree program) at the graduate school.In collaboration with the University of Graz in Austria and the University of Leipzig in Germany, both have the theme of sustainability, which is the basis for building a sustainable global society.
According to Hiroshima University, the joint establishment with the University of Graz is the Department of International Collaboration Sustainability, Hiroshima University and the University of Graz, Graduate School of Human and Social Sciences. In a two-year master's program, students study at Hiroshima University and the University of Graz for one year each.The enrollment capacity is one student from Hiroshima University and one student from the University of Graz, for a total of two students.
