 The survey was conducted by extracting 62 people from 4,770 national, public and private universities nationwide.According to the report, the employment rate of university students was 1.7% for national and public universities, down 68.6 points from the same period of the previous year, and 2.0% for private universities, down 65.8 points.By gender, boys decreased by 1.8 points to 65.8%, and girls decreased by 2.2 points to 67.2%.
By region, Kanto increased by 1.3 points to 75.8%, and Chubu increased by 2.5 points to 63.6%, up from the same period of the previous year, but all others were down.In particular, Chugoku-Shikoku decreased by 9.1 points to 47.8%, and Kinki decreased by 5.3 points to 67.8%.Kyushu decreased 3.7 points to 53.5%, and Hokkaido Tohoku decreased 1.9 points to 62.9%.
There are 44 university students nationwide who want to get a job.Estimating from the results of this survey, it is calculated that 2,000 people have received a job offer and 29 people have not received a job offer.The employment rate of university students who graduated this spring was 4,000% as of April 14, the second highest level after 8,000 before the Lehman shock.For this reason, some say that the final employment rate will settle down to the same level as this spring.

 Keidanren has changed the job hunting schedule for college students from April to August at the request of the government.Next year, we plan to make it two months ahead of schedule in June, and we would like to discuss with the university and the government and make a formal decision by the end of November.
