From May 2020 to 5, 29, Yokohama University of Pharmacy will hold "Hamayaku ONLINE Experience Training".The plan is to make it easier for you to experience the fun of pharmacy at home, and this will be the second time following the popular hands-on training in April.
The training theme of "Hamayaku ONLINE Experience Training" is "Let's examine the antioxidant effect".Active oxygen generated when energy is produced in a living body causes aging and lifestyle-related diseases.Damage to the living body due to active oxygen can be prevented by antioxidants.In the practical training, we will understand redox titration using vitamin C (ascorbic acid), which is one of the antioxidants, and investigate the antioxidant effect of tea around us using a kit.
The application period for the training is May 5-18, and the target is high school students.We accept up to 22 people on a first-come, first-served basis.The training kit will be sent to the applicant free of charge.The training will take about 500 minutes from 5:29 on May 10, and you will participate through your computer or smartphone while you are at home.
