We sent a document requesting the adoption of ingenious selection methods such as online interviews (formerly recommended entrance exams) to national, public and private universities nationwide.
According to the Ministry of Education, the document is the name of Yoshinori Hakui, director of the Higher Education Bureau.In the selection method of the entrance examination, the ability of the examinee is grasped while preventing the spread of the new corona infection, such as online individual interviews using ICT technology, presentations, report submission by online participation in university classes, submission of practical videos, etc. He called for the implementation of possible selection methods.
In consideration of the impact of temporary closure, we requested that the survey report not be treated unfavorably because of the number of days attended and the shortage of extracurricular activities, and also that we could not participate in sports competitions and qualification / certification exams. We request sufficient consideration.
In the future, if the infection of the new corona spreads and the recruitment method is changed, it is requested to decide and announce it at an early stage and to fully consider the impact on the examinees.We are calling for similar measures to be taken for entrance exams for returnees and adults.
