Kansai University launches an urgent project to study measures against new coronavirus infectious diseases.We have already started recruiting research themes on campus, assuming research on social resources to prevent medical collapse and research on eliminating discrimination against infected people.After examination, full-scale research will start in July.

　The open call for participants for the project is until June 6.If it is selected after examination on campus, a total of about 10 million yen will be subsidized.The research period is from July 1,000st to the end of March 7.

　As a countermeasure against the new corona, new treatment methods and vaccines are being developed at national research institutes and universities nationwide, but Kansai University makes use of the strengths of a comprehensive university with 13 faculties and graduate schools, and infectious diseases bring about it. We decided to develop research that broadens our horizons to social issues and secondary damage that is often overlooked throughout the university.
