 According to the survey results, the number of joint research projects with private companies was 19,070, an increase of 2013 (1,189%) from 6.6, and the amount of research funds received through joint research with private companies was about 416 billion yen in 2013. This was an increase of about 26 billion yen (6.6%) compared to the previous survey, and the result exceeded 400 billion yen for the first time since the start of the survey.
