On June 2020, 6, Waseda University signed a comprehensive agreement with Tokyo and Minato Ward.We aim to carry out a test operation of a fuel cell waste collection vehicle in 25 in Minato Ward.

 In this initiative, aiming for the future spread of fuel cell waste collection vehicles, we will develop and test-operate fuel cell waste collection vehicles suitable for the operation mode in Tokyo.Waseda University proposed and adopted it based on the "Business Proposal System by University Researchers" in Tokyo.By concluding the agreement, we will work closely with each other to smoothly develop and test-operate fuel cell waste collection vehicles that contribute to CO2 reduction and improvement of the work environment during waste collection.

 The period is from June 2020, 6 to March 25, 2022.In Tokyo, the progress of the entire project will be managed, Waseda University will play the role of vehicle modification and performance / introduction effect evaluation assuming use in urban areas, and Minato Ward will play the role of vehicle operation in the test operation on the garbage collection route. In 3, we will carry out vehicle development and data analysis suitable for the characteristics of Tokyo, and in 31, we plan to carry out test operation, data analysis and evaluation on the garbage collection route in Minato Ward.
