 In the industrial world, new technologies are changing in various fields such as fintech (finance x technology) and medical tech (medical x technology) while the performance of AI is currently improving significantly.A field that is attracting attention, especially in Europe and the United States, is real estate x technology "real estate tech."

 The "Real Estate Tech Student Contest 2020" emphasizes the possibility of evolution of the real estate industry through the development of highly practical technology and the perspective of "how happy society can be" through it.The event will be held with the aim of fostering AI engineers who can create "products that can truly change society" with their own hands, as many participants as possible can get a chance to step up to become AI engineers.The data used this time is big data that is actually distributed in the housing market, and it is valuable data that even university researchers rarely have the opportunity to use in Japan.

 Contest participants will first train in the development of forecasting algorithms using open data on real estate transaction prices and tackle the first selection agenda.After clearing it, take a lecture / learning workshop and challenge the challenge task.Challenge tasks will be judged and commended.Winners will be provided with the opportunity to participate in social implementation experiments with the support of the University of Tokyo Real Estate Information Science Research Division and Reitaku University Urban Real Estate Science Research Center.

 The target is high school students, technical college students, college students, and graduate students.Capacity is up to 200 people (first-come-first-served basis, free of charge).Since learning programs are prepared at each stage (for beginners, beginners, and intermediates), even beginners of programming and students who have only experienced either data science or application development can apply.
