SOINN Co., Ltd. is developing its social implementation based on the learning-type general-purpose artificial intelligence algorithm "SOINN (Self-Organizing Incremental Neural Network)" that is being researched by Associate Professor Osamu Hasegawa of Tokyo Institute of Technology. It is a university-launched venture company established in 2014 for the purpose of operation.

　"SOINN" runs artificial intelligence software on a conventional server and communicates with client terminals such as mobile phones and various sensors. Unlike services, it has high flexibility, light information processing, and evolution of learning logic. It has features such as autonomy, it is possible to incorporate artificial intelligence into client terminals, and it is said to be a technology suitable for the IoT (Internet of Things) era where huge amounts of data are generated on the terminal side. In 2013, we received the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Innovation Technologies 2013" special award for excellent content technology, and it is used for data analysis for many companies and business formats in flood forecasting and demand forecasting.

　The Innovation Network Corporation of Japan, which has decided to invest this time, will provide management support such as further expansion of business and business operation to SOINN Co., Ltd. not only by funding but also by dispatching outside directors, and artificial intelligence originating in Japan. We intend to support the development of technology platforms, the realization of global expansion, and the creation of new services.
