At Showa Women's University Faculty of International Studies, four first-year students of the "SWU-TUJ Double Degree Program" that started in 2018 have been officially transferred to TUJ from the fall of 1.This program is for 4 years at Showa Women's University and 2020 years at Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) in the same site, for a total of 3 years, and obtains two degrees, Showa Women's University and TUJ.

To study abroad at TUJ, it is required to clear high English proficiency and grades of "IELTS (English test) 3 or higher, GPA (average grade) 6.0 or higher" by the fall semester of the third year. The Faculty of International Studies has a curriculum to ensure that you have the academic ability to officially enroll in TUJ, and intensive study begins immediately after enrollment. The four students who enrolled in 2.7 have already met the criteria, and in the summer semester that began in May, they completed "Academic Writing", which is difficult for regular TUJ students, with good results. The four will study abroad at TUJ for the next two years and try to acquire the first TUJ double degree.

Generally, when you try a double degree, you are concerned not only about your grades but also about your costs, but this program does not cost you overseas stays or airfares.Furthermore, with the donation of TUJ, in principle, you can participate only with the tuition fee for 5 years at Showa Women's University.

In addition, Showa Women's University International Department has a double degree program with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which is a national priority university in China, Seoul Women's University in South Korea, and Sookmyung Women's University. From the Shanghai Jiao Tong University program, which began in 2013, 26 people have already graduated from two universities with bachelor's degrees.

The Seoul Women's University program, which began in 2016, is expected to produce one graduate in 2020.
