At the "Entrepreneur Koshien 2015", a national business plan contest sponsored by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology, "Code for Hakodate", which is organized by graduate students of Future University-Hakodate, received the highest award from the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications. Received two corporate awards, the Septeni Award and the Softbank Award.
Ryo Sugimoto, a high school student in Hakodate City, is one of the members and is disgusted by the fact that the route bus does not operate on time, so the route, operation time, and location information of public transportation in the city are converted into open data and viewed. "Code for Hakodate" is a voluntary organization created by graduate students in the advanced ICT field and Mr. Sugimoto. Established in 2014, we have started a civic collaboration activity aiming to revitalize the southern Hokkaido region with information and communication technology, and are attracting attention.
This tournament is a final tournament where student teams who have won the challenge right of entrepreneur Koshien in student contests nationwide gather and compete for the best in the whole country, and 11 teams participated this time.
