This lecture was realized from the proposal of a student who is studying the participation of university students in voting. It is said that it was.Lectures will be held 1 times every Wednesday from April 4th to June 2016st, 4 for all undergraduate students of Chiba University.In the latter four times, group work will be held in which the staff of the Chiba City Election Commission office participates.
In the lecture, as the voting right is reduced to 18 years old, we will learn about the current situation of young people's political participation and think about how young people should participate in politics and elections.In addition, we will consider the causes of low turnout of young people, the current situation and whereabouts of political participation, and consider what is necessary for young people to be interested in elections and politics. Based on the fact that the Upper House election is scheduled to be held, we will consider concretely what we can do to expand the contact points between young people and politics through group work.
