Kogakuin University (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) and Tokyo Medical University (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) are joint research projects specializing in the development of "minimally invasive" diagnostic methods that minimize the physical burden on patients in treatment and diagnosis. To start. In this research, while cutting-edge information engineering and medicine specialize in specific fields, we aim to not only innovate in this field but also "more patient-friendly medical care" by collaborating in various specialized fields.
The research will be divided into 7 teams, and each specialized field will be selected from Tokyo Medical University, and one professor in charge of each department will be selected from Kogakuin University to form a team.Work on each research theme.
[7 joint research themes]
1 | "Development of a new artificial hip joint simulator" (Department of Orthopedic Surgery x Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering) |
2 | "Development of a minimally invasive diagnostic system using liquid biopsy" (Molecular pathology field x Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering) |
3 | "Early diagnosis of dementia using Brain Computer Interface (BCI)" (Aged Comprehensive Medicine x Faculty of Informatics, Department of Computer Science) |
4 | "Development and research of low-pressure tongue depressors in oral surgical retractors" (Otorhinolaryngology field x Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering) |
5 | "Development of new testing equipment for diagnosing ossicular lesions without invasiveness" (Otorhinolaryngology / Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering) |
