QS Quacquarelli Symonds, which compiles the university rankings annually, has released the 2021 edition of the rankings, which comprehensively compares universities in Asia.

 The 2021 QS Asian University Rankings provide comparative data on the top 650 universities in Asia.The number of universities surveyed has increased by 18% from the previous survey, making it the largest comparative evaluation in QS history regarding the higher education sector in the Asian region.The top three universities in Asia were National University of Singapore, Tsinghua University, and Nanyang Technological University, ranked first for four consecutive years.

 105 Japanese universities are ranked in the announced list.
