In order to promote a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Fujieda City, the Shizuoka Institute of Science and Technology Group will be located in the Fujieda City Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Promotion Center (BiVi Can) on October 2020, 10. "Fujieda Innovation Commons, University of Science and Technology" was established.
At this center, we want to strengthen the functions of education and research at each group school centered on Shizuoka Institute of Science and Technology, and to be an "innovation commons" with industry and local public organizations. It is planned to be used as a "place" for the entire group to be close to the local industry and to embody their feelings.
In the future, we will carry out direct educational contribution activities such as "industrial promotion business" by strengthening cooperation with local companies through technical consultation and technical support, and lectures for working adults that meet the needs of industry. We will develop activities centered on the "human resources development business" and the education business sponsored by the group, and the "cultural promotion business" that contributes to the development of local culture by promoting exchanges with local industries.
