The Faculty of Global Liberal Arts will conduct overseas study tours in four regions, Lithuania, Jerusalem, India, and Malaysia / Borneo, from June to July 2021 according to the curriculum.The program emphasizes not only lectures in the classroom but also field work in the city, but it has been decided to postpone it because the global epidemic of the new coronavirus infection has not subsided.We will carry out "Overseas Study Tour 6" which is a modification of the original program.
"Overseas Study Tour 2.0" will be held online from June to July 2021 for four weeks connecting the above four regions with Japan.In consultation with local affiliated universities, we will assemble a program centered on hands-on programs such as lectures, exchanges and discussions with students, visits to NGOs through virtual tours, and online training.In addition, we plan to visit places related to the four regions in Japan and overseas support organizations.The core part of the program will be accommodation training at British Hills, an international training facility at Kanda University of International Studies.The study tour to the site will be conducted when the infectious disease situation has calmed down to some extent, although the travel period may change.
Participation in this program will enable students from the four regions to learn about multicultural coexistence, religion, humanitarian assistance, history, sustainability, and other regional themes in a broad and mutually comparable manner.
