Waseda University's official project "Kouhai Navi" conducted a career program for second-year high school students at Seitoku University Girls' Junior and Senior High School on February 2, 2021.It is held for the purpose of letting students know about the university, considering the current situation that it is difficult to go to the open campus in the field due to the influence of the corona.On the day of the event, the staff of "Waseda Kohai Navi", an active university student, explained the characteristics of each faculty of Waseda University and introduced the university life.
"Waseda Portal Office Official Project Kohai Navi" is an official project of Waseda University to support the student life of new students who have various worries and anxieties.The members are composed of Waseda University students and staff, and the knowledge of the staff supports the support from the student's perspective by the students.
This career program will help second-year high school students who are about to take the exam next year to set specific career goals, motivate them to achieve their goals, and take action.It will be an opportunity to participate in the planning of university student staff, feel the state of university life realistically, and know the significance of aiming for higher heights.In addition, the staff of Waseda Kohai Navi are planning to cooperate with the "inquiry activity" (individual research) of the second year of high school.
This program will also be a pioneer of high school-university collaboration projects at "Koei VERITAS Junior and Senior High School," which will be renamed from the same school in April 2021 and co-educated.
