This internship system was invented in 2015 by a student group survey and research at the Hidefumi Kurasaka Seminar, Faculty of Law, Politics and Economics. In April 2016, a new lecture entitled "Thinking about Young People's Political Participation" was also set up. I have been studying what is necessary to be interested in politics and politics from various perspectives through group work. With the House of Councilors election on July 4, 6 and the Mayor of Chiba election in 3, we consulted with the Chiba City Election Administration Committee to hold an internship on election affairs in order to put into practice what we learned in the three-month lecture. ..The Chiba City Election Commission has decided to accept a five-day internship at the Chiba City and Inage Ward Election Commissions, as it will help raise awareness of voting among young people and promote understanding of elections.

Participants in the internship are those who have taken the lecture "Thinking about Young People's Political Participation", one in the 4th grade of the Faculty of Law and Economics, 1 in the 3rd grade of the Faculty of Law and Economics, and 2 in the 2nd grade of the Faculty of Law and Economics. 1 people in total. As for the contents of work, voting work such as setting up the venue of the polling place before the deadline and reception, and conducting street enlightenment activities. After completing the internship, a certificate of completion will be issued by the Chiba City Election Commission.

One of the trainees, Kentaro Muramatsu, a third-year student in the Faculty of Law, Politics and Economics, participated in a lecture on "Thinking about Young People's Participation in Political Science" and learned about the current state of measures related to election enlightenment by the government. After seeing and experiencing the measures for promoting political participation and the work of the Election Commission in Chiba City, the purpose of the lecture I took this time is "promoting young people's political participation". I want to use it in the future to solve the problems. "
