On February 2021, 2, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Engineering University Junior and Senior High School signed a high school-university cooperation agreement.We will foster excellent human resources in the fields of medical care, environment, and engineering, and strengthen cooperation to realize the future dreams of young people.
Through this collaboration agreement, business plans such as "Human resources development for human resources who can play an active role in the changing global society", "Implementation of junior high and high school education utilizing the university campus" and "Enhancement of science and mathematics education" advocated by Junior and Senior High Schools attached to the University of Engineering. Will be actively supported by Tokyo University of Pharmacy.Specifically, we will provide junior and senior high school students to participate in lectures held at universities, provide consultation on admission to junior high and high schools, and provide guidance on academic dissertation production.In addition, we plan to support educational training by university students with a teaching profession and support for obtaining a degree for teachers of junior high and high schools.
From April 2021, we plan to implement a special program divided into a pharmacy course and a life science course, centered on students in the science course of the Junior & Senior High School of Engineering.It is an inquiry-type program that is in line with the interests of students, and is expected to become the starting point for the development of science and mathematics education for both schools.
