According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the problem-solving advanced medical human resources training program has been promoted since 2014 with the aim of training excellent medical human resources who can provide medical care based on scientific grounds and contribute to the realization of a healthy and long-lived society.
Of these, the psychiatric-related area, which has been implemented since 2018, and the disaster support area by the medical team have reached the mid-term, so it was decided to make an interim evaluation. Academic experts such as Professor Ritsuko Tsugawa of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Nihon University examined the contents of the efforts so far.
The four mentally-related areas selected as projects and implemented are Tsukuba University, Chiba University, the University of Tokyo, and Kyoto University, and the disaster support areas by medical teams are Tohoku University, Niigata University, and Kumamoto University. school.
