After the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, Ishikawa Prefecture suffered a rush of tourists from the Tokyo metropolitan area and a rapid increase in foreign tourists visiting Japan, but the situation changed completely due to the Corona disaster. In addition to popular tourism resources such as the history and culture of Kaga Hyakumangoku and marine products of the Sea of Japan, Ishikawa has many local resources such as traditional culture, industry, and nature that are rooted in various places. Whether to utilize it will be an issue for regional revitalization.
Koetsu Yamazaki, President of Kanazawa University, said, "We will foster human resources who have immediate stress on social change through education that integrates literacy through industry-academia-government collaboration. I want to do it. "
