 At Kanazawa Institute of Technology, with the aim of supporting the growth of human resources involved in the ICT field and creating industry-academia collaboration required by society, "Creation of Local Urban Innovation", "Shinkansen Kaitsu Society", and "Near Future Mai" from 2014. We have held "KIT Hackason" with social themes such as "Number and IOT" and "Create an elementary school in the near future!".

 The 5th meeting will be held in August / September 2016. Under the theme of "Create a next-generation satoyama city where children can grow abundantly!" , About 8 students from Kinjo Junior College will also participate.

 On August 8th and 6th, an "ideathon" was held at the university's Ogigaoka campus.After keynote speeches and talks with company representatives, each team will share ideas for several hours, put them together, and present them.A visit to the target site will also be held, and prototypes of products and services that embody the image of the satoyama city presented in the ideathon will be promoted during the summer vacation.

 Subsequently, on September 9th and 16th, each team developed it at the "Hackathon" held at the university's Hakusan Campus (former Kanpo no Sato Hakusan Oguchi), which is under construction and maintenance for opening in April 17. Demonstrations and presentations of prototypes.After a commemorative lecture and feedback on the evaluation, an exchange meeting between participants and citizens will be held.
