Kinki University and Acecook Co., Ltd. will hold an overseas internship jointly by industry and academia in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for eight days from August 2016 to 8, 22.This is the first time that Acecook and Kinki University have jointly conducted an overseas internship.Students will work with local university students to develop a market in Vietnam, where the penetration rate of cup noodles is low.
Vietnam was the second largest in the world in 2015 with an annual consumption of instant noodles per capita of 1 meals (according to a survey by the World Ramen Association).However, the ratio of cup noodles is about 51.9%, and Acecook Vietnam Co., Ltd., which boasts a share of more than 2% in the Vietnamese instant noodle market, is aiming to develop the cup noodle market.
In this overseas internship, 2 second- and third-year students from Kinki University, who were selected to give students a mission to "create a cup noodle market in Vietnam!", Collaborated with students from the local Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
