Keio Academy of New York (High School), which opened in New York, USA in 1990, started a high school-university collaboration program aimed at improving English proficiency on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its founding. In April 2016, an agreement was reached with the University of Hawaii to promote high school-university collaboration. From September 4, one 2016th graduate who graduated from Keio Academy of New York in June will be enrolled. Take a class at the University of Hawaii in one semester (Autumn semester) and earn credits.

 Keio Academy of New York has signed an agreement with the University of Hawaii in order to make effective use of the so-called gap term until students who graduated from the school in June enter a Japanese university in April of the following year.

 By giving graduates the opportunity to take classes in one semester (fall semester) of an American university for about half a year before entering a Japanese university, they can improve their English proficiency and understand each other's cultures in Japan and the United States. The aim is to promote cultural exchange.

 Keio Academy of New York has already started an attempt to collaborate with the neighboring Manhattanville College in October 2015 by current students.After that, after repeated negotiations with Manhattanville College, it was agreed to implement a high school-university collaboration program not only for current students but also for graduates, and an agreement was signed on June 10, 2016.Some faculties at Keio University have decided to certify credits earned before admission at Manhattanville College.In addition, Keio University is considering accrediting credits earned at the University of Hawaii, which has signed an agreement this time.
