The Kansai Public Private Medical University / Faculty of Medicine Union, which consists of eight medical universities in the Kansai region, including Hyogo College of Medicine, has established a working group to jointly research health care policies with the WHO Center for Health Development (Kobe City).

 According to Hyogo College of Medicine, research fields include high-performance housing in an aging society, healthy community development, dietary education, oral care, and utilization of big data. We will promote joint research to solve current issues and problems in order to provide high-quality health and medical care by taking advantage of the economies of scale in collaboration between the eight universities and the WHO Center for Health Development.

 At the Hirokoji Campus of Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in Kyoto City, the presidents, directors, directors of the Faculty of Medicine, and senior advisors of the WHO Center for Health Development Shinjiro Nozaki gathered to sign a document on the establishment of a working group and conduct joint research. I explained the outline to the press.

 In addition to Hyogo College of Medicine, the Kansai Public Private Medical University / Faculty of Medicine Union consists of Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Kansai Medical University, Nara Medical University, Osaka City University, Wakayama Medical University, Osaka Medical University, and Kinki University.Until now, each university has independently conducted joint research with overseas universities, but decided to establish a working group when the G7 Kobe Health Ministers' Meeting was held.
