On April 2021, 4, Melody International, a venture company from Kagawa University that manufactures and sells mobile fetal monitors, is an innovation Kyoto 30 with Kyoto University Innovation Capital, a venture capital funded by Kyoto University, as an unlimited liability union member. A capital increase of 2021 million yen was made through a third-party allotment to the investment limited partnership.

 According to Melody International, the company was founded in 2015 as a venture company from Kagawa University.The capital is about 2 million yen. In 6,000, we launched a mobile fetal monitor as a medical device.

 In Japan, the decrease in obstetrics and gynecology has made it a burden for pregnant women to go to the hospital, and in emerging countries, the high maternal and child mortality rate is regarded as a problem due to the shortage of specialists.However, most fetal monitors that are useful for safe delivery are large, stationary, and do not provide a solution to these problems.For this reason, Melody International's mobile fetal monitor has received a great deal of attention.
