 The "Honda Soichiro Cup Honda Eco Mileage Challenge" is a self-made car with an average speed of 25km / h or more, running 39 laps (mileage 20m) within the specified time of 11 minutes 7 seconds 16389.68 and competing for low fuel consumption. , 77 teams participated in "Group III", which is a class for university, junior college, technical college, and vocational school students.

 The Yumekobo team's "stradale" passed the qualifying on the previous day in 1st place, and the final was the only student to win the fuel economy record of 2000km.This is the 2th time that the Yumekobo team has won the tournament for the first time in two years.Team leader Natsuki Kojima (10rd year in the Department of Mechanical Engineering) said, "I'm glad I got good results because I didn't have any trouble in the final this year."

 In addition, the new vehicle "Welt" also won the 5th place in the first appearance. "Stradale" and "Welt" are rare for domestic student teams, and they also make their own engines.

The stradale is a vehicle developed in 2009 and has won 8 times out of 6 appearances until this tournament. The fuel consumption of 2013km / liter recorded at the 2416.3 competition is the highest record for domestic students in the "Honda Eco Mileage Challenge".
The body has a total length of 3000 mm, a total width of 700 mm, a total height of 600 mm, and the frame and cowl are made of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), and the body weight is only 26.5 kg.It is equipped with a 35cc, 4-stroke OHC engine manufactured by the students themselves and uses electronically controlled fuel injection.
