On May 26, 2026, Jissen Women's Educational Foundation, Japan Airlines Co., Ltd., and JAL Aviation Mirai Lab Co., Ltd. signed an educational partnership agreement with the aim of contributing to the development of future leaders. The agreement aims to cultivate well-rounded global talent who embody Jissen Women's Educational Foundation's founding principle of "Women change society, change the world," and to promote active and sustainable efforts by both parties to solve social issues.
Jissen Women's Educational Foundation and the JAL Group have collaborated on social contribution courses and an "Origami Airplane Workshop" at the "JISSEN Marche" event commemorating the 125th anniversary of the school's founding in 2024. Building on their past collaborations, they will not only promote sustainable social contribution activities by mutually utilizing the resources of both parties, but will also further deepen Jissen Women's Educational Foundation's focus on "social collaboration" and "globalization" through social contribution courses and problem-based learning (PBL) provided by JAL.
Specifically, the curriculum will address real-world challenges faced by the JAL Group, deepening students' understanding of the aviation industry and real-world issues, and expanding practical learning opportunities by encouraging them to propose solutions from their own unique perspectives.
Furthermore, current JAL cabin crew members have joined the career support department of Jissen Women's Academy as staff members, bringing their knowledge and professional perspectives cultivated in the aviation industry back into the educational setting. By combining Jissen Women's Academy's personalized support system with JAL's hospitality, they will develop multifaceted career support. In the future, they are also considering jointly planning problem-solving programs specializing in the aviation, tourism, and customer service fields.
