On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the International Exchange and Multicultural Collaboration Tutors at Tokyo Keizai University (Kokubunji City, Tokyo), comprised of international and Japanese students, will invite students from Kokubunji Municipal First Junior High School to the Kokubunji Campus for an international exchange event as part of their community collaboration efforts.

This event has been held since 2023, and this will be its fourth iteration. It provides junior high school students with an opportunity to learn about foreign cultures and societies in an enjoyable way, while also serving as a catalyst for communicating the importance of international exchange and multicultural coexistence to the local community.

Approximately 30 people, including junior high school students, international students, and faculty members, will participate in the event. International students from Myanmar, China, Vietnam, and Thailand will take the lead in giving slide presentations introducing their home countries. In addition, group work incorporating quizzes is planned to allow junior high school students to deepen their knowledge of foreign countries in a fun way.
