In April 2022, “Osaka Public University” will open with Osaka Prefectural University and Osaka City University as its parent organization.
Osaka Public University was established in April 2022 through the merger of Osaka Prefecture University and Osaka City University.Both universities have a history of about 4 years, are comprehensive universities with 140 faculties, and have about 12 students.It is the largest public university in Japan.A new "knowledge base" that connects people, society, the city, and the world was born in the big city of Osaka.
