Chiba Institute of Technology was founded in 1942 as "Koa Institute of Technology" in response to social demands to train advanced science and technology engineers and enrich Asian countries including Japan.In the 17 years since then, it has continued to support Japan's growth through manufacturing, and is now the oldest existing private technical university.
In an era of change where the creation of knowledge that opens up a new future on a global scale is awaited, the development of human resources who embody the founding spirit of "contributing to world culture with technology" and have the power to play an active role in the global society required by society. We will continue to aim to develop human resources with advanced specialized knowledge and cutting-edge research capabilities.
