Aiming for a new leap in education and research from a global perspective toward the 100th anniversary of our founding
Kanagawa University was founded in 1928.Based on the school's founding spirit of "Simplicity and Sturdiness, Aggressive Progressiveness, Moderate Steadyness", we aim for true practical learning and develop human resources who can grow on their own. In April 2021, the Minatomirai Campus, where the Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Foreign Studies, and Faculty of Global Japanese Studies are gathered to develop global human resources, will be completed. In April 4, the “Faculty of Architecture” will be established. In April 2022, the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering were reorganized to establish the Faculty of Chemistry, Life Science and Faculty of Informatics.Kanagawa University's 4 faculties of humanities and sciences will all gather in the Yokohama area, and will take a new step forward as a research base aiming to become a world-class research center.
