At Kanda University of International Studies, students study the world and international issues through two faculties: the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Global Liberal Arts (GLA). They study a wide range of topics, including the culture, history, and economy of each country and region, and acquire the communication skills, intercultural understanding, expertise, and global education required of a truly internationally educated person based on their high level of language proficiency. Another feature of the university is that all students improve their English proficiency, the global common language. More than 2 English teachers with master's and doctoral degrees in English education as a foreign language are responsible for teaching these skills, and are invited from all over the world. In our original English classes, which are conducted in small groups, students are trained to think in English and communicate information in English, focusing on group work and discussions.
