Kindai University, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025, is one of the largest comprehensive universities in Western Japan, covering a wide range of fields from medicine to arts, and practices "practical education" in all faculties. It promotes many industry-academia collaboration projects, and faculty and students work together to acquire the knowledge and skills to solve various modern challenges by combining specialized knowledge and skills across disciplines. In addition, it has established a Department of Nursing within its Faculty of Nursing.
