Kitasato University

Comprehensive approach from three fields as a comprehensive university of life science

Kitasato University has various organizations such as hospitals, research institutes, graduate schools, and vocational schools, and is opening up the frontiers of life science step by step with an organic "knowledge" network.There are four fields to elucidate life phenomena: ``Fundamental research in life science'', ``Animals, plants and the environment'', ``Human life and health'', and ``Analyzing data and identifying future issues''. We are currently practicing the spirit of the founder Shibasaburo Kitasato, who manifested "practical science that is useful to people" by comprehensively approaching from the beginning.

RemarksThe school recommendation-based selection examination for medical school (designated schools for regional quotas) is currently undecided (2026 results: Yamanashi Prefecture 2 students, Ibaraki Prefecture 4 students, Kanagawa Prefecture 5 students, Saitama Prefecture 2 students, Niigata Prefecture 3 students).
If the number of applicants does not reach the quota through the school recommendation-based selection examination (designated schools for regional quotas), a general selection examination for regional quotas may be held.
