Evolving information education and aiming for new practical science in the AI / IoT era
Osaka Electro-Communication University has "Faculty of Engineering", "Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering", "Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences", and "Faculty of Informatics". We will evolve into a “technical university”.In the Faculty of Architecture and Design, we have developed a curriculum that fosters advanced expertise in architecture and design, regardless of whether you are in the humanities or the sciences. With the rapid progress in the use of AI and IoT, DX (Digital Transformation), which transforms businesses and lifestyles through digital technology, has become an important social issue.At Osaka Electro-Communication University, we have established a new practical learning that further advances information education, which is the starting point. We are developing education that incorporates advanced information technology into all academic subjects, such as sports and games.In any field, we aim to enable each student to be active in a super smart society and live a rich life by having knowledge and skills in both the specialized field and the information field by the time they graduate.
