Sanjo City University opened in April 2021 in the Tsubame-Sanjo region, a hub of manufacturing industries. Using the entire region as its campus, the university draws on the professionalism accumulated in this area, offering diverse engineering and management education to cultivate "innovative technologists"—individuals capable of creating new value unconstrained by existing values. The university offers distinctive education and unique engineering curricula to ensure each student acquires a strong foundation. Students learn the professionalism cultivated in Tsubame-Sanjo while honing their practical technical skills and problem-solving abilities through internships at over 190 companies.
