Shimane University is a comprehensive university with five faculties of law, education, human science, general science and engineering, and bioresource science on the Matsue campus, and a medical school on the Izumo campus.In addition to inheriting traditional scholarship and creating knowledge, we are promoting education and research aimed at solving contemporary issues in response to changes in social and industrial structures.We also actively carry out practical education such as field study and study abroad / training in various parts of Shimane prefecture.We are developing human resources who can play an active role as leaders in the region, Japan, and around the world by acquiring advanced expertise, skills, global sensibilities, and flexible creativity, building an upcoming ultra-smart society.
