Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University, which was founded in 1939 as the only pharmaceutical education institution in the Tohoku and Hokkaido areas, is a medical university consisting of two faculties and three departments: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Department of Biomedical Sciences. The Faculty of Medicine, which was established in Japan for the first time in 2 years in 3, has created an environment where students can devote themselves to study and research at a higher level, such as the start of clinical training at the new university hospital building completed in 2016.We are training medical professionals who have a rich humanity and high ethical standards as medical professionals and who can play an active role in the medical field with a deep understanding of the dignity of life.
