As a university rooted in the local community, Tohoku University of Public Interest and Literature cultivates human resources who have a global perspective and who, together with the local people, will boldly tackle the economic, administrative, welfare, and other issues facing the local community with leadership. From April 2021, we have positioned "interdisciplinary collaboration" as the key to working in teams to solve problems, and are working to enhance the functionality of the curriculum so that students can acquire expertise in multiple fields.As one of them, we introduced the "Data Science / AI Education Program" to acquire data science skills, which are essential skills in the Society 4 era.We are cultivating the ability to utilize data to solve problems.
