Tokushima University

A university that "thinks from a global perspective and acts from Tokushima"

It is a comprehensive university with six faculties (School of Integrated Arts and Sciences, School of Medicine, School of Dentistry, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Science and Engineering, School of Bioresources and Industry) and two campuses, which celebrated its 2024th anniversary in 75. In order to make a further leap as a university that solves global issues (SDGs) from the local area, we are further strengthening our education, research, and social contributions. There are the Institute of Advanced Enzyme Science, which conducts world-leading medical science research, the Post-LED Photonics Institute (pLED), which conducts research to create innovations that save the world with light, the Bioinnovation Research Center (BIRC), which promotes life science research, the University Hospital, which leads the cutting-edge medical care, and the University Industrial Graduate School, which systematically produces organization-to-organization industry-academia collaboration and startups. In addition, we have established the People and Community Co-creation Center to strengthen collaboration with the local community. We have also established the Research Support and Industry-Government-Academic Collaboration Center to collaborate with companies and others.
