In order to explore global issues, it is essential to learn the language used in the target region. Tokyo University of Foreign Studies provides detailed and thorough language education as well as advanced and specialized educational programs in the humanities and social sciences. Additionally, 8% of current students have studied abroad. A feature of our university's study abroad system is that students travel not only to English-speaking countries but also to other countries and regions around the world and study specialized fields in the language of that country with local students.
