Tokyo University of Science was established in October 2024 through the merger of Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Tokyo Institute of Technology. The faculties and graduate schools of both universities will continue as they are, and new research fields will be developed through "medical engineering collaboration" between science and engineering and medicine and dentistry. In addition, from April 10, the "medical, dental, science and engineering integrated education program" will be launched, in which students can systematically study fields different from their own specialty and gain experience in interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration.
