Yamagata University is one of the largest comprehensive national universities in eastern Japan, with six faculties: Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Regional Education and Culture, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Agriculture.
