At a seminar conducted by Associate Professor Shoko Hatanaka, who studies labor law at the Faculty of Law at Hakuo University, seminar students surveyed 620 students about their concerns, complaints, and questions about part-time jobs. We have created a handbook called ``Book to Solve Problems for Part-time Students Working,'' which summarizes useful legal knowledge from a student's perspective.
``Book for solving problems for part-time students working'' is a book that students who belong to ``Specialized Seminar I (Labor Law)'' taught by Associate Professor Hatanaka, who specializes in labor law and social security law, learn through seminars and lectures. We created this book with the hope of using the knowledge we gained about labor law to help students who, like us, are working part-time and working hard despite having various worries and questions. It consists of five items: ``recruitment/hiring/retirement/dismissal,'' ``wages,'' ``working hours,'' ``discrimination/harassment,'' and ``work-related accidents.''For each item, students answered questions after demonstrating basic legal knowledge. The problems are presented in a Q&A format. In addition, each item includes a column written from a student's perspective by the seminar student in charge. Additionally, there are articles about the ``annual income barrier of 5 million yen'' and information on labor consultation services.
The ``Book to Solve Problems for Part-Time Students'' is available on the Hakuoh University campus, and can also be viewed in PDF format on the Hakuoh University website.
